The Best Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

Give the brussels sprouts a good wash. You might need to scrub them a bit.

Peel off any discolored or funky outer leaves that you don't want to eat.

Slice off the stem and the cut the sprouts in half (or quarters if they're large).

Pro tip: I like to give the sprouts a cheeky wee wash after cutting and peeling them to remove any extra dirt that was hiding under the leaves.

Par-boil the brussels sprouts. This step is crucial - no one likes rock-hard sprouts!

Carefully pat the sprouts dry after draining them. Caution: they will be hot!

Mix the seasoning. I kept it simple: garlic powder, black pepper, salt, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey or maple syrup (if desired).

Mix the sprouts with the seasoning until they are completely covered.

Add the sprouts to the air fryer. Give them a wee shuggle to spread them evenly.

Give them a wee stir half way through.

Voila! Don't they look amazing? All they need is a squeeze of lemon and some grated parmesan.
