Alec Baldwin dropped his children off at school in New York City Thursday morning – just one day before he’ll make his first court appearance for his involuntary manslaughter charge in the 2021 fatal “Rust” shooting.

The “30 Rock” actor, 64, took with a car with his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, and carried several of his children’s colorful backpacks.

Baldwin hopped in the front seat while helping two of his seven young children – Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, María, 1, and Ilaria, 4 months – who were seated in the back of the black SUV.

Hilaria, 39, joined her hubby as they walked side-by-side outside of the Manhattan school. They appeared to briefly chat while Alec looked down at the ground.

At one point, the couple stopped to chat to an unidentified man walking his dog along the sidewalk.

The Academy Award winner appears to be getting in some quality family time before virtually appearing in court for his arraignment on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

During Baldwin’s arraignment, a New Mexico judge will formally inform him of the criminal charge against him: involuntary manslaughter.

As previously reported, Baldwin fatally struck “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins when a prop gun unexpectedly went off while they were filming at Bonanza Creek Ranch in New Mexico in October 2021. She was 42.

The dad of eight was initially facing up to five years in prison, but he scored a major legal victory when the Santa Fe District Attorney’s Office announced they were dropping the gun enhancement charge against him.

He can still be sentenced up to 18 months in prison if convicted of his involuntary manslaughter charge.
