Detanning foot soak

To make this soak, add a glass of warm water, rose water, and some rose petals, of milk to a tub along with warm water, rose water and some rose petals, and soak your feet for at least 15-20 minutes. Milk helps in skin lightening

Foot massage

Take a teaspoon of besan along with a pinch of turmeric and some rose water and make a thick paste. Massage it gently all over your feet and keep it for 5-6 minutes. Wash off with cold water once it dries

Coffee foot scrub

Take a teaspoon of coffee, equal amounts of granulated sugar and some coconut oil and scrub all over your feet and legs

A light, gentle massage with ghee for at least 10 minutes before sleeping helps remove the tan from feet and legs

Tamarind salt scrub

Take pulp from fresh tamarind and add some coarse sea salt to it. Scrub it all over the feet and legs for 5-6 minutes and wash off with cold water

Take a handful of lemon peels and dry them in the sun for a day or two and coarsely grind them. You can also dehydrate them in the oven for 5-6 hours at 100 degrees. Add some sea salt and coconut oil and gently scrub and massage all over the feet and legs

Take an overripe papaya and smash it into a pulp, add some coconut oil to it and gently rub all over the feet and legs, massaging for at least 10 minutes. Papaya has skin lightening enzymes that also help make it soft and supple

Take an overripe banana and add some honey and olive oil to it. Make a paste and apply it all over your feet. Leave it for at least 7-8 minutes and wash it off with cold water
